  • When should I make a decision regarding hospice care?

    As soon as your doctor informs you that curative care is no longer an option for any end of life diagnosis, or when you feel you no longer want to receive aggressive treatment for your condition.

  • Can I keep my regular doctor?

    Yes, if your attending physician would like to continue administering your care he/she is always able to do so.

  • Who is eligible for hospice care?

    Anyone with a life threatening illness is eligible. These illnesses include cancer, renal disease, diabetes, dementia, AIDS, pulmonary disease, COPD, liver disease, or any other terminal illness. Please contact our office to speak with someone to discuss your prognosis and options.

    Nursing, attendant-care, PT, OT, Social Worker, Chaplain, spiritual bereavement, volunteer, medical equipment, all covered medications, 24-hour care.

  • How often will a nurse be available?

    As often as needed based on individual assessment; Nurses are on call 24-hours a day.
